WHAT IS DANCE THERAPY?

 

The goal of dance therapy is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to express and explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions through dance and movement. It is a space where you can explore self-expression, creativity, and the connection between mind and body.

I believe breaking is one of the most empowering dances in the world and can uplift individuals and connect communities across borders and cultures. Through my graduate studies in dance movement psychotherapy, my goal is to sharpen my skills in dance, therapy, and community building, and use breaking and hip-hop as a means to enrich, enliven, and enlighten.​​​
